Dr. Basel Hussein Roshdy is the chairman of IT Investments Fund and chairman and CEO of Nile Capital Holding for Financial Investments. Basel has 29 years experience in investment and fund management, VC, business and corporate development. Basel has executed and exited investments in renewable energy, technology, education, and infrastructure in Egypt and abroad. Before that, he worked in corporate banking, project finance and syndications. His first employment was in project management and cost control. Key Industry experiences include the following sectors: Technology (ICT), Media, Renewable Energy & Waste/Environmental, Education, Tourism, Real-estate & Commercial Developments, PPPs, and Financial & Investment Advisory. Basel is the General Secretary of the Egyptian Private Equity Association EPEA, and member of the Green Transformation Partners Initiative.
